My history

My passion for interiors began long before I became a professional designer. Even as a child, I was fascinated by spaces, furniture, colour and the way different elements could come together to create a home.

This childhood drawing is one of my earliest memories of expressing that passion through design. Looking back, it feels like a small glimpse of the creative path I would eventually follow.

Over the years, that early interest developed into a deeper knowledge of interior design, spatial planning, styling and the principles that make a space both beautiful and functional.

Today, through Eleanor May Interior Design & Property Services, I bring together that lifelong creativity with professional knowledge and experience, working collaboratively with each client to turn their ideas and vision into a space that feels truly their own.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. I offer a 30-minute Zoom consultation for £35, where we discuss your space, requirements, style and ideas. This gives me the opportunity to understand your project and recommend the best approach. If you decide to proceed with a full interior design project, the consultation fee will be deducted from your final project fee.

What is your design process?

Every project begins with understanding your needs, style and budget. I then develop the design concept, including mood boards, colour schemes, furniture and décor selections, layouts and 3D visuals where appropriate. We work together throughout the process to create a space that is both beautiful and practical.

Can you work within a specific budget?

Absolutely. I work with a range of budgets and tailor each design to your priorities. During the consultation, we can discuss your budget and identify where to invest and where to save, ensuring the design remains both achievable and stylish.
